So I have this professor here at my college who teaches Government. At first I thought he was a pretty intelligent guy, but after today…not so much. He started talking about America's beginning in politics and what not, and he made the comment that the Federalist Papers were useless. That alone made me a little bit upset, because…they weren't…at all. Anyway, then he asked us what the function of the Declaration of Independence was.
Now, anyone who knows history knows what that document did. He said that it gave us our independence. That's right, the document…that our forefathers wrote, signed, and sent to the king of England, gave us our independence. If you know history, you know that the document did nothing but royally piss off the King. He sent it back to us, and war broke out. More or less. We got our independence via war, not via legislation.
It just kinda really upset me. I tried to raise my hand to correct kindly, but he ignored me and kept right on going. Started talking about how Rhode Island used to be a genius for holding elections every 6 months, and how smart they were for canceling all the farmers debts. Except…Rhode Island is like…two feet big. So…Yeah. Moron.
Like I'm not saying I'm the smartest person when it comes to history, I get a lot of things messed up sometimes, but at least I'm willing to have people correct me and learn from that and not just brush it off like this guy does. In my personal opinion, if you're going to teach Government, you should know a thing or two about history, and more then just 6th grade basics. Furthermore, if you're going to actually BE in government, like the PRESIDENT, then you should know SO much about American History...they should give candidates a test before they're aloud to run. They should be at least able to give a basic time-line, name every president in order, and name all the states and their capitals and all our territories. I just think it's important. Wouldn't hurt if Congress and the Supreme Court could do that too. :/ JS...

I'm not good at drawing
And I think the reason why is because I never did enough fan art of humans when I was younger. New goal. Draw more fan art of humans to get better at OCs.
Bleh.

Working on My Stories Again
So I'm working on my main story and I've come across several snags that have, once again, prevented me from writing because I believe these things are too important to wait. :/
I need to work on the religion of the universe, and not just what the people see but what is actually happening and the differences. The Houses need work. The government needs a LOT of work. The military is too shaky. I don't have enough logos and seals. I need some help designing maps but I'm too busy to find someone to help me and I'm too picky to let someone help me. I need to decide who's point of view to write from. I also need Anastasia to listen to me and she w
How old is too old?
Seriously thoug, how old do you have to be to be "too old" to draw things like Sonic, Ponies, and Pokemon? Is there a limit? Can I be an adult with a job that has nothing to do with drawing to still draw some of my favorites?
I don't believe in a limit.
Im gonna start posting my scribbles again. Maybe someone will take interest and motivate me once more.
I do love scribbling Pokemon. ^u^

The Only Test they are given is this: Have no Humanity. Damn you Dr. Robotnik and your ability to robotize the politics! D:
